I cannot tell you enough how much I truly enjoyed the CCW training. Devin is an outstanding instructor and his enthusiasm peaks me to further my training. I'm glad I now have somewhere to continue my training.

I had heard good things about your training and wanted to take a class to see for myself. My answer, outstanding!! It was the best money I have spent on training in a long time! I have taken a few classes before yours, and I feel I learned more about "fighting" with a carbine this weekend, than in any other training I've attended. Overall, outstanding curriculum, and world-class instruction, I'd like to think I take the concept of instruction seriously, and you sir, in my opinion, are at the top of your game in this field.

My mom, sister and I were running errands together one day when a man quickly approached my mother and I. He came from out of nowhere and I didn't want to give him the chance to get any closer to us. Without even thinking about it, I said exactly what we had practiced in FAST Defense. He turned around and walked away in the opposite direction. At first I didn't realize what I had done - I was so relieved he had left. After a few minutes passed my mother said, "You just did what we learned in that class." I hadn't even realized it, but it was EXACTLY what we had practiced in FAST Defense. I had been in situations like this before, but never seemed to say the right thing or wished I had reacted differently. It's great to have simple and concise statements that deter a situation from becoming dangerous.
Thank you FAST Defense!

This was a great class. Having instructors who bring real world experience from the law enforcement and military fields directly to civilians is invaluable. We were not only introduced to the skills, but also the mental aspects of what could happen in a stressful situation.

This method of CQB just makes sense. It is the way I am going to operate and the way other teams should as well. Great training.

HIGH THREAT CQB (IACT: LE and MILITARY)
This class was developed to provide personnel with one basic, principle-based method of searching and building entry suitable for a variety of situations up to and including "High Threat" situations. The system is a hybrid American-Israeli system that utilizes limited entry, segmented search, and aggressive threat and corner engagement. It lets individuals and units engage threats from a tactical advantage instead of simply and hazardously forcing a close range man-on-man confrontation. It is a battle proven system that will give operators the skill and confidence needed to address the most serious threats in both law enforcement and military environments. www.iacttactical.com

This class is well suited for an instructor development program and it introduces a tactical framework that can be implemented in other combative programs.
