Intermediate Handgun Fighting Tactics Course
The class is scheduled from 8AM to 5 PM. This will be a full day of training and will include physical work. It is half range based and half tactics/other skills based.
The intent of the class is to add an extra layer of more important dynamic skills for fighting with a handgun in a self-defense situation. The drills in class are not range and paper target based, but are intended for the realities of close range fighting, to include hand-to-hand combat, while armed with a pistol. We will provide you with concepts you can include in your own future dry-fire and live-fire training.

- Shooting moving targets
- Combat Reloads
- Striking with handgun
- Handgun Retention and Disarming
- Immediate Action and Remedial Action
- Drawing, firing, and manipulations with one hand occupied
- Stealth Drawing and target engagement
- Threat focused “flash sight picture” shooting
- Multiple target engagement
- Extreme Close Range Target Engagement
- Use of cover and cornering
- Weapon Retention
- A “combat” style graduation engagement course
- Course will physical, but not demanding
Please Bring
- 300 rounds of ammunition
- Eye and Ear protection
- Lunch
- A sweatshirt/pull-over type of cover shirt and a frontal opening/jacket type of cover shirt. Please bring both!
- A semi-automatic pistol and a good quality holster with at least two additional magazines
Tuition: $175.00 (If you cancel for any reason we will re-schedule you for another class to the best of our ability. If you choose not to reschedule, we will refund 50% of the price of course)
We will meet just west of the Cubby's in Bennington at 0745hrs Saturday morning. Completion of the Basic Concealed Carry Class or instructor permission is required prior to taking this course.
