HIGH THREAT CQB (IACT: LE and MILITARY)

This class was developed to provide personnel with one basic, principle-based method of searching and building entry suitable for a variety of situations up to and including "High Threat" situations. The system is a hybrid American-Israeli system that utilizes limited entry, segmented search, and aggressive threat and corner engagement. It lets individuals and units engage threats from a tactical advantage instead of simply and hazardously forcing a close range man-on-man confrontation. It is a battle proven system that will give operators the skill and confidence needed to address the most serious threats in both law enforcement and military environments. www.iacttactical.com

High-Threat CQB:

Current methods do not allow operators to effectively deal with prepared defenders; they are based on paper range drills, and lower threat, non-dedicated resistors. Current methods also leave officers unprepared for worst case situations, do not give officers the ability to withdraw from and stabilize an extreme situation, and do little for the recovery of wounded officers.

This class will provide effective training to deal with almost any situation encountered by today’s officers and operators to include:

  • Day to day, “citizen friendly,” patrol duties such as report, alarm, and disturbance calls, or deterrence and presence patrols.

  • Extremely hazardous, high-threat situations such as active shooter, high-risk warrants, immediate entry, and even counter-terrorism   situations.

  • Situations that may originate as routine or low-risk and become “Suddenly Worse Case.

The two-day class bridges the gap providing from “Street to SWAT” or “Soldier to Special Ops” skills enabling operators to better deal with high-threat situations.  It is especially suitable for rural officers who must deal with situations by themselves or with the assistance of a hastily assembled team of officers from multiple jurisdictions.  It is the first step into more advanced tactical CQB training, and at the same time provides the common tools for any operation.

Three to five day classes can be arranged for special teams.
