Signal 88’s Operation American Dream

Military veterans with hopes of starting their own business have the opportunity to win up to $10,000 in start-up money through Signal 88 Security’s contest, Operation American Dream.

The Nebraska-based security company is accepting video submissions from Army and Air Force veterans explaining “why they deserve to be their own boss”. The company is accepting submissions until May 15.

The winning contestant will receive $5,000 to start his or her own business or $10,000 if he or she chooses to open a Signal 88 Security franchise.

The winning submission will be decided through a public vote on Signal 88 Security’s Facebook page on May 22. Voters will choose between two Army veterans and two Air Force veterans.

Marine and Navy veterans will have the opportunity to compete in October 2014.
