Who are you?
My name is Travis Reyes and I'm the owner of Signal 88 Security of Cascadia. My broad professional background includes more than 6 years of service in the U.S. Army as a cavalry scout. After returning home to the Pacific Northwest I became involved with a friend's security business and learned firsthand about the industry. I saw that our community has a need for truly professional and effective security. I started Signal 88 Security of Cascadia as a way to give back to the community with my skills and experiences.
Why are you here?
Signal 88's promise as a global company is "to provide peace of mind to pursue passion in life." That resonates with me. I'm dedicated to fulfilling that promise here in the greater Seattle and Cascadia community. It's a great place to live and I love raising my family here — so my work takes extra meaning because I want to give back. I can do that in my own way through this business.
What are your plans for this year?
This year we plan to grow. That's not rooted in financials or numbers on a spreadsheet — we measure our success by the people we serve. Our job at Signal 88 is to create peace of mind, and when we do that it means our communities are a little safer, a little more peaceful, a little more prosperous. That's a great calling. So when we talk about "expanding the business," what we're really saying is we're going to do everything we can to serve more people.
